Clinton Clark is an Emmy Award-winning composer and studio musician with professional experience in film scoring and custom music beds for nationally touring planetarium projects, such as "Voyager the Cosmic Nomad" and "Where Time Began." This award-winning work includes scores for AT&T, American Express, McDonald's, Iowa Tourism, Prairie Meadows Race Track, Anderson Erickson Dairy, Iowa Department of Economic Development, and Krafty Kids, Inc.
We are located in Minneapolis and our services include original music and synchronized scoring for films, games, podcasts, webinars, audiobooks (long and short format), software apps, TV commercials, radio commercials, gymnastics performances, PowerPoint presentations and other media presentation formats.
If you are looking for music engraving and music notation, we offer this music preparation service as well; using the latest version of Dorico by Steinberg. Here are some examples. Dorico can import MIDI and MusicXML files (including exports from Sibelius, Finale and most DAWs).
In addition to our scoring services (creating custom accompaniments to specific performances), we offer a library of ready-made music tracks for purchase at either Songtradr or Pond5.
. . . recognized by the Television Academy in the category of "Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Programming."
What We Do That Makes a Difference
All of the visual movements in a scene (walking, hand gestures, head turns, transitions, etc) contribute to a rhythmical pattern. We tap into this pattern and translate it into a tempo map so that the music fits the scene like a glove. We do the same for audiobooks, using the narration performance.
This is the first art of film scoring and transforms, what appears to be a set of songs, into a synchronized score. Approaching the music in this way allows the film director all the freedom they need to edit in a way that best tells the story; then the music is rhythmically and texturally designed to fit that story.

We use only professional-grade sample libraries including East West, Spitfire Audio, Cinesamples, ProjectSAM, Orchestral Tools, Omnisphere and Native Instruments.
Our Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) is outfitted with the latest versions of Cubase Pro and Dorico Pro. Finished audio tracks are usually delivered to the client as a stereo master along with group stems, all at 48 kHz - 32 bit.
Free Online Piano Lessons
PianoNanny's "Piano on the Net," another award-winning project by Clint, has been featured on the NBC Nightly News (June 1998) and on CNN (October 1997). "Piano on the Net" teaches piano and music lessons online at pianonanny.com and was selected as one of the top 50 websites on the Internet in the August 1997 issue of WebMaster (now CIO) Magazine. "Piano on the Net" is the original Free Online Piano and Music Lesson course established online in February of 1994.
I thought making an eight-minute film scoring tutorial out of my experience with scoring a HitRecord community-project film would be helpful to those wanting to learn how to score films or animations. The same process can be used to score the narration track for an audiobook.
If you are a film director that is new to film scoring, this will be helpful to you as well. Having your film scored really brings the story to life. Contact us today for details - email@example.com
If you wanted to get a head start identifying the cues in your film, game or audiobook project, we have developed a handy Spotting Notes Template that you can download (PDF - 152 KB).
Your Film Score (PDF - 139 KB) is a helpful single page guide that we have developed for those who are new to the process of Film and Video Game Scoring.
For your convenience, we have developed this Music Licensing Guide to help you plan your project budget. The pricing is subject to change without notice, so please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to verify pricing.
