Here
are all the scales you played today being
played "chromatically," which
is a very fancy word for up 1 half step
at a time. Push play on the slider bar to
hear the full set of major scales being
played chromatically (chromed
*grin*).
If you are a new student and did not pick
up your software in Starter
lesson number 5, you will need to do
this before you can fully participate in
this course.
I
chose to show sharps for the black keys in
this lesson. Flats can also be roots. And,
you are done! Now you can tell everyone that
you know that you are now working on scales
and roots.
"Sounds like a scalp disease." Keep
playing out of that simple piano book I asked
you to get. Keep exercising your technique.
Or, as it is said in Jazz, "Keep your
chops in shape."
